The Primary Health Care Team

Ours is a group practice of doctors, who are supported by a friendly practice health care team, also equally committed to looking after you.

In addition to the doctors, the team is made up of one practice nurse, the district nurses and the health visitors. There are also receptionists and a team of administrators.

We provide a range of General Medical Services.

Practice Manager

Kerry Butler

Our practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Practice Nurses

Muluwork Taye & Eileen Mcalinden

Our practice nurses see patients by appointment for asthma, diabetes, immunisations, travel vaccinations, urine tests, blood pressure checks, cervical smears, smoking cessation, HRT, family planning advice, as well as giving general health and healthy living advice.

Reception Team

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions, dealing with prescription enquiries and dealing with patient records.
